What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? It’s a question that I’m sure you’ve been asked many times in your life. But how often have you pondered on the thought of the potential?
We all have yearning for Success, whether it be in our career, personal aspirations, relationships, or even other people’s perception of ourselves. (see “Perception Vs. Reality”)
Too often we set the bar too high without thinking of a ladder (so to speak) to help us get up there.
Failure is an inevitable part of life. But it certainly isn’t a negative notion. Without failure, how can you measure success? Most of our world’s most influential people have a bucket load of failures to account for. So how did they turn their shortcomings into successes?
Fear.
It’s the single most powerful tool than can drive you further than any motivational “blog” can. Don’t mistake it for ‘fear of failing’, it’s the fear of never realizing your potential.
I’m sure we’ve all been told that you’re not good enough, experienced enough or even talented enough, but what can you do with all the put downs?
Channel those disheartening words and use them to motivate you towards your goal. Write out the small steps in between your goals to help guide you to where you want to go.
Dreams are important, especially in a world where we constantly reminded that “there’s always someone else out there doing what you want to do”. So what’s stopping you from trying?
A famous Japanese Proverb has inspired me from a young age to never give up on what you want in life. If there’s one thing you take away from this post, it’s this;

The pain of failure is short-lived, but the joy in your successes will always prosper.
Remain optimistic and take the time to realign yourself with your goals. Nothing is more important than your internal happiness. It may sound selfish at first thought, but when you are truly happy, that positivity radiates and attracts likeminded individuals to help support and nurture your aspirations.
Take time out of your busy life for yourself, even if it’s just 10 minutes a week. Look at your calendar and schedule it in. Write down some of the things you’d like to work on, then find a potential solution for each. You will feel inspired to start a new journey of self-discovery that can be so rewarding and fruitful.
Remember, the smallest step towards your dreams, such as putting pen to paper, could be the start of something magnificent and successful.
Even if you feel that you’ve already accomplished your dreams, there is always something we can work on internally. We will never be perfect, but we can be happy in our pursuit.
Stay Humble, Stay True, and Be YOU!
